Objectives

THE OBJECTIVE: To bring the children of our vast African continent together and thereby aspiring to create a better understanding and goodwill between all African nations.

OUR STRATEGIC ASSIGNMENT: To rally children towards the Promotion of key Development pillars identified as cultural diversity, Tourism and networking platform.

OUR PURPOSE: To empower the children to realize their potential through a competitive yet collaborative effort, building confidence through professional opportunities and guidance. . 

 

BACK GROUND

Little Mister and Miss Africa is a non-exploitative, cultural and education event that seeks to promote talent and intellectual abilities of children.

It’s a positive children’s development program that rewards and encourages the personal development and accomplishments of young children within Africa and globally. Invented in 2019, LMMA competition is growing into an extensive cultural event that celebrates the rich and diverse African Culture, Promoting Continental tourism and creating a networking platform for all children. To us; “Africa should be a one whole happy village for all its children”. Little Mister and Miss Africa’s delegates are defined in 4 age categories: Toto Mister | Miss: 4 - 6 years old Mini Mister | Miss: 7 - 9 years old Little Mister | Miss: 10 - 12 years old Teen Mister |Miss: 13 -16 years Old . The continental final is hosted in a different African Country every year. Participating delegates from all over Africa gather annually for the Continental finals to strengthen friendly ties amongst countries, get to know the Cultural Heritage of the African Continent, showcase their talents and join forces in the quest to appreciate our African Diversity. The Continental Grand Event gives each participant a unique experience and confidence in their abilities. From prominent and historical tourist sites, native languages, traditional wears, local dishes, way of living etc. in each African country, it’s always an exciting experience for children each time they travel to a new country and get to explore the new cultures. The winners of different years become "Little African Ambassadors” who promote Africanacity and advocate for the rights of children in Africa and Globally.


Little Mister and Miss Africa is an annual Continental competition that is run by THE INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL OF MODELLING LTD. Incorporated in 2014 with its headquarters in Kampala Uganda. In 2020, The International School of Modelling ltd launched Little Mister and Miss Africa to create a platform that can bring all African children together to celebrate Africa’s diverse culture, Promote African Tourism and network while nurture the next Africa’s leaders and ambassadors
